Mid of November 2016 I started my „All around the World in 225 Tagen Tour“. I took with me the art project „Bad Bags/Good Bags“.

Central to this art project are seven leather handbags which I let manufacture in Vietnam in 2007. (see video on YouTube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OHh-iRq6fng&feature=youtu.be). I took these bags on my journey in order to exhibit them in seven cities. So every station will add a new chapter to the art project. The seven handbags will be exhibited on every station of my journey and will be filled with local artists work from the city /country I am staying.
I started the show in Frankfurt with seven artworks. Each filling one handbag. The handbags are closed. So the artworks are not public to the audience only with there picture title.
On the next station, in Kampala (Uganda), then the „Frankfurt works“ will be visible to the audience. But the works of the artists from Uganda will be hidden by the bags.
The next station will be a town in Australia, New Zealand or Tasmania. There the works oft he Frankfurt and Kampala artists will be visible but the works of the local artist will be hidden in the bags. And so on. The bags will fill and empty out through the journey.
According to my current plans the next stations will be Changzhou (China), Japan or Hawaii, Vancouver and the last station will be New York end of June. In July 2017 after my return to Frankfurt there will be an exhibition of all 49 works. This so far is my intention.
